Hey Everyone! i hope all is well . today was a pretty easy day not too much going on! We cleaned a few HMMWV (hummers) and cleaned out an office at the CP. I spent 6 hours at the comm shop trying to get a few things fixed. i finally got it all together. Believe it or not i have tomorrow off! I love ya'll and miss ya'll i hope to hear from you soon!

Well I'm here in Kuwait. It is freezing cold but thats ok I don't really feel it because i'm numbed by excitement... I miss you all very much and pray for you often. I'll be ok!!!! Thanks to my family for all of the support I love you! I thank god for giving me such wonderful friends and family please know that no matter what I love you all with all I am! As you can see we shot a few rounds... This is only off of one 240G machine gun... We had a good time on the range. Training is almost done here on Pendelton we will be all trained up and ready to step off whenever that might be. Please know that all of you at home are in my thoughts and prayers daily. God is here for us all. Hope all is well with everyone I love Ya'll. Sorry this is so short I am BEAT... I hurt from head to toe.. Gotta love training right?

I'm leaving D.C. tomorrow for California. I havn't written in a while its been real busy. Quantico was a lot of fun we learned a lot of good stuff for our job. I have walked all over D.C. in the last few days. its been fun but i hope i can come back in the spring or summer because its way too cold here. I miss everyone from home. I hope everyone is doing well. Please know that I think of yall daily. Hope you all have a good one. *This is from the 7-Ton when it got stuck in the mud the whole front tire was covered in mud.

Today i went bowling with mikey( the youth pastor @ church) I always enjoy hanging out with him he is a great guy and has shown me god in many difficult times. I won... but Mikey is a tough opponent! We had a great time! After bowling I went to ride horses at Charlie's barn i got to ride RAMBO... he is a real good horse, i also rode on a 4-wheeler...and i didn't kill myself on it.. normally i go all out when I get on a 4-wheeler. After the barn i was invited to dinner at the Moses's house. We had spaghetti.. it was so good. then we talked for a while. And thats my exciting day!

This is my first blog. I was told that this would be an eaiser way for me to keep in touch with everyone from home! So I hope ya'll enjoy the upcoming posts I'll have on here.
First off I'll start by saying I'm John, I am 21, in the marines and full of life.... I think! In my spare time i enjoy going to church where I volunteer as a youth counselor. I love all of the youth! They have helped me grow with god more than i could ever put into words. it is strange how they do so much and don't realize it. i also enjoy golf and just riding around in my car. I also enjoy hanging out with my friends outside of church although we can't ever seem to find a thing to do in this town... we play pool, go bowling or just sit around a fire, which isn't too bad. All of my friends are very special to me i hope they know that as well! Most of all I enjoy being with my family... My family means the world to me! I have lost too many of my family members to not enjoy their company. ALTHOUGH it is very tough to see my family because it reminds me of my loved ones that have gone to heaven to become angels and help pour out the rain. I know that one day i will see them again!
